About IFAACC & IAACCF
IFAACC – International Foundation for African Arts, Crafts and Culture is a not-for-profit organization dedicated to advancing African arts, crafts, culture, and creative industries through education, cultural exchange, and community development initiatives.
IFAACC works to support artists, craftsmen, designers, cultural practitioners, and creative entrepreneurs by creating opportunities for learning, collaboration, and global visibility. Through programs, research, and cultural initiatives, the foundation contributes to the preservation and promotion of Africa’s rich artistic heritage.
IFAACC works in collaboration with International African Arts, Crafts and Culture Fair (IAACCF), an international platform that produces exhibitions, markets, fashion showcases, and cultural events celebrating African creativity and innovation.
Together, IFAACC and IAACCF form a dynamic ecosystem that connects culture, creativity, and commerce—supporting African creatives while bringing African arts and culture to global audiences.
IFAACC is a separete legal entity and have a separate board from IAACCF even though they are both founded by the same person.
The International African Arts, Crafts and Culture Fair (IAACCF) is a registered social enterprise based in Canada.
We love Africa and are passionate about celebrating African and Caribbean artists, craftsmen, artisans and cultural practitioners by providing them with an avenue to showcase their unique innovations, arts, crafts & businesses to the World.
This sentiment led to the inspiration to founding the International Foundation for African Arts, Crafts and Culture (IFAACC) and organizing the International African Arts, Crafts & Culture Fair (IAACCF)
Together, IFAACC and IAACCF are building a global platform that celebrates African creativity while fostering cultural exchange, economic opportunities, and sustainable development for African artists and cultural entrepreneurs.
Over the years, black creatives and entrepreneurs have been in the minority with their concerns mostly unheard. This is not just in Canada but also on the International level. It is sad to acknowledge that only 2.5% businesses in Canada are owned by black people according to StatCan and it is no different on the international market as a whole.
The IAACCF therefore, believes this is the time for African artists, craftsmen, artisans and cultural practitioners to grab their opportunities by showing the international market what they have to offer and this is why we curate projects and organize events to spotlight these creatives.
Mission (IAACCF)
To connect African creators with global audiences, empower entrepreneurs, and highlight Africa’s rich heritage through exhibitions, partnerships, and innovation in Canada and beyond.
Vision (IAACCF)
To be the leading global stage for celebrating African arts, crafts, and culture while fostering trade, creativity, and cross-cultural exchange.
